Foster-Miller and the U.S. Navy have been working together on technological advances for many years. One of our robots is used for nuclear shipboard cleaning and our Lemmings robots are part of the Navy's initiative to "let robots do the dangerous work" of reconnaissance and mine clearing. We are currently actively involved in a procurement for advanced linear motor (ALM), electromagnetic aircraft launch systems (EMALS) and robotic weapons loading technology for next-generation aircraft carriers. The Navy is also an "early adopter" of our shipboard on-line oil condition monitoring technology.
